VERVE GALLERY OF PHOTOGRAPHY: 13 ten-minute artist profiles shot on the Canon 5D Mark II HDSLR and edited in Premiere CC and Final Cut Pro 7 with motion graphics created in After Effects. Established in 2003, VERVE was a leading vendor of the very best there is in every genre of contemporary fine art photography worldwide.

Tony O’Brien’s work as a documentary photographer has appeared in many national and international publications. He is the director of the photography program at the Marion Center of Photographic Arts at Santa Fe University of Art and Design. He is the author of 'Afghan Dreams: Young Voices of Afghanistan' , Bloomsbury Press 2008 and 'Light in the Desert: Photographs from the Monastery of Christ in the Desert', the New Mexico Museum Press, 2011.
Susan kae Grant’s photographic and book-works are included in numerous collections including, The George Eastman House, The J. Paul Getty Museum, The Minneapolis Art Institute, The Tokyo Museum of Photography, the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston and The Victoria and Albert Museum National Library. Grant received an MFA in Photography and Book Arts in 1979 from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She has conducted workshops, lectured and exhibited her work throughout the United States, Canada, Europe, Australia, British Columbia, Africa and Japan. Since 1975, Grant has produced 13 limited edition handmade books. She has actively participated on the board of directors of the Society for Photographic Education and various other community service organizations. In 2003, she was the recipient of a public art commission in which she served as the designer for the Southwestern Medical District/Parkland Dallas Area Rapid Transit (DART) Station, which opened December of 2010. From 1979-1981, Grant taught as a faculty member at Wayne State University. In 1981she joined the faculty at Texas Woman’s University where she currently serves as head of Photography and Book Arts. She is on the staff of the International Center of Photography where she teaches workshops annually. In 2003 and 2005, she was the recipient of the Society for Photographic Education “Freestyle Crystal Apple Award” and “The Excellence in Photographic Teaching Award” in 2004 from the Santa Fe Center for Photography. Ryuijie was born in Otaru Japan in 1950. He moved with his family to the US as a young child. Over the years, Ryuijie has lived in many places. It was in Monterey that an exhibit of Jerry Uelsmann’s Photographs inspired him and propelled him to do fine art black and white photography. Ryuijie has pursued his photographic vision for twenty-eight years, and during that time has acquired a reputation for exquisite platinum-palladium prints. His work has appeared in View Camera, Photovision, Camera and Darkroom, Black & White and Lenswork. He has published three books, Ryuijie: Photographs, Time and Place, and Fragments of Time. Maggie Taylor received her BA degree in philosophy from Yale University in 1983 and her MFA degree in photography from the University of Florida in 1987. After more than ten years as a still life photographer, she began to use the computer to create her images in 1996. Her work is featured in Adobe Photoshop Master Class: Maggie Taylor’s Landscape of Dreams, published by Adobe Press in 2004; Solutions Beginning with A, Modernbook Editions, Palo Alto, 2007; and Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland, Modernbook Editions, Palo Alto, 2008. Taylor’s images have been exhibited in one-person exhibitions throughout the U.S and abroad and are in numerous public and private collections including The Art Museum, Princeton University; The Fogg Art Museum, Harvard University; Harn Museum of Art, University of Florida; Museum of Fine Arts, Houston, Texas; and The Museum of Photography, Seoul, Korea. In 1996 and 2001, she received State of Florida Individual Artist’s Fellowships. In 2004, she won the Santa Fe Center for Photography’s Project Competition. 2005 she received the Ultimate Eye Foundation Grant. She lives in Gaineville, Florida. Nevada Wier is a multiple award-winning photographer specializing in documenting the remote corners and cultures of the world. Nevada's journeys have taken her throughout the deserts, mountains, and urban jungles of the globe. Nevada is a prolific featured speaker for workshops, seminars, professional panels, and conferences. The Global Warming Express is a climate change advocacy organization created by kids for kids. It was founded by two nine-year-old girls in Santa Fe, New Mexico, after they learned about climate change and endangered species in third grade. One girl, Marina Weber, wrote a book about global warming to send to President Obama, and she enlisted the help of her classmate, Joanna Whysner, to illustrate it. The book will be published this year. In the two years since its inception, The Global Warming Express has become a fast-growing movement. Marina and Joanna created the GWE Club as an after school club at Acequia Madre Elementary School. Plans are in the works to expand the GWE club to as many as eleven other schools in Santa Fe and surrounding communities for the 2014-2015 school year. Youth Shelters and Family Services delivers life-changing services to homeless, runaway, and in-crisis youth in northern New Mexico by providing shelter and addressing health, safety, education, and workforce opportunities so they may lead independent and meaningful lives. Youth Shelters and Family Services serves more than 1,000 homeless, runaway, and in-crisis youth and family members each year. Most are local—75% from Santa Fe and Santa Fe County alone—and another 10% from other communities in Northern New Mexico. Youth from elsewhere in the state and around the country also access services. This year, more than 1.7 million children in America will be homeless. The Abbey of Our Lady of the Mississippi is located near Dubuque, Iowa. The nuns there are members of the branch of the Order of Cistercians of the Strict Observance, commonly referred to as Trappistines.
